Addressing health and nutrition issues in Bihar
CRY |CHARDS
Most communities in remote parts of India still don't understand the detrimental effects of early marriage on girls and their offspring. Along with losing their childhood, having no access to education, and their health being at risk, these factors can also negatively affect their children. Throughout 2021 alone, CRY has been transforming the mindset of mothers and adolescents to improve their health and nutrition in Bihar, which has benefitted over 9000 children and 1400 mothers.
